Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture where all individuals are valued, respected, and provided with equal opportunities to succeed. We firmly believe that embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment not only enriches our organisation but also enhances the experiences of our customers, colleagues, and the communities we serve.

  • Our Goal

“We strive to create an inclusive environment, removed of bias or stereotypes, where colleagues are empowered to bring their whole selves to work and where their talent shines through.”

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is not only a statement but a reality in our workplace. ‘Be you, belong and be valued’ shapes our culture, decisions and actions.

How are we inclusive as a business?

We have developed and communicated policies that promote diversity and inclusion, including but not limited to, recruitment processes and flexible work arrangements. We are dedicated to regularly visiting our strategies, listening to colleague feedback and improving our process wherever appropriate.

Diverse Hiring and Colleague Feedback

We are committed to diverse hiring practises and actively seek candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Continuously collect feedback from our colleagues, encouraging each individual to let us know how we can do more for them by emailing our Diversification, Equality and Inclusion email address. Leaders are accountable for fostering inclusive teams.

Supportive Groups

We have created a Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion steering group, that bring together like-minded individuals to connect across the business. They share ideas and experiences to help drive forward our diversification, inclusion and equality commitments. We also established the colleague culture council, a group of individuals who are passionate about making our business an outstanding place to work. The council meets to discuss upcoming initiatives and debate areas of focus for our DE&I strategy.

 Development and Celebration

Invest in ongoing training and development that emphasise inclusivity, empathy and cultural understanding for all colleagues. We recognise and value our colleagues' contributions throughout the entire year. Our mission ‘Growth Powered by People’ is what drives our strategy forward.

    PRIDE

"I was extremely proud to take part in Pride this year, It’s great for colleagues that do not normally work together to meet up and celebrate. In addition for me I was able to show my son how inclusive our workplace is and he was able to take back to his school and share as a diversity and inclusion rep. He now shows an active interest in our business which is a new topic for us."

    - Trina Mutton, Contact Centre Manager

  • I’ve taken personal responsibility for contributing to our DE&I strategy because we all have a duty to speak up about what we and others want for our future. Being involved in colleague support since its inception for Stratstone some years ago now has cemented that I can and should represent myself and those around me, be a driving force for the change we want for us all. I was lucky enough to represent the company in Birmingham Price 2023 and march for many who’ve faced adversity, walking with colleagues, friends and even my very own boyfriend. Bring on Pride 2024!
